The Dynamatic Technologies facility in Swindon, UK, has over 50 years of experience in the design and manufacture of Gear Pumps and supplies products to Agricultural, Construction and On-Highway vehicle manufacturers.

Products include Combined Variable and Fixed Displacement Pump Packages, Temperature Controlled Fan Drive Systems and Fixed Displacement Pumps in Aluminum and Cast iron with a range of additional integrated valve option


Purpose of the role


This is an active role covering the Dynamatic Hydraulics business, with the individual participating within the overall function of the quality team ensuring we meet the needs and requirements of the business, utilising their knowledge of our products and processes in supporting the manufacturing & Assembly and Test teams in solid root cause analysis and robust corrective action activities and driving the concept of quality through the business and out to our suppliers and customers.


Specific responsibilities


A Quality Inspector, or Quality Assurance Inspector ensures that a company's product meets all quality standards before it goes to lineside.

Their duties include testing the product, ensuring supplier specifications are met and certifying the product meets industry standards.

PERFORMS daily part specification inspections ensuring all out of specification items are supported by raising of non-conformance with clear problem statement.

CREATES sample inspection plans

SUPPORTS the creation of control plans

ENSURES all items found to be out of specification are contained within the quarantine area or bonded store.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Ability to keep accurate data and records
  • Be actively involved in problem solving events

Experience

  • Previous Inspection experience is a must
  • Able to use Hard gauges, Digital gauges and CMM measuring equipment.
  • Able to read and understand CAD drawings
  • Experience in inspection of parts made through CNC machining, manual turning, grinding.
  • Experience in QMS and able to create and document procedures and internal audit.
  • Must be able to work alone and within a Team
37 hours per week
