Supply Chain Planner

Butler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner to come and join you a fast paced and quickly growing FMCG company who are currently expanding their operation to new countries.

They are looking for a driven and knowledgeable procurementand supply chain professional to join them and help them navigate through this period of growth.

Duties of the Supply Chain Planner

Prepare inventory and sales data each month to analyse trends to help forecast successfully, present ideas at forecasting meetings.
Search and flag for any potential supply issues regarding stock to ensure all orders leave on schedule.
Place purchase orders with suppliers, carefully negotiating pricing, and enter orders using the ERP system.
Work closely with external suppliers and internal customer service team on the various documentation required for crosstrade orders.
Working in a complex supply chain with a global supplier base and global customer base.
Create, develop and maintain documented supply chain processes with a continuous improvement mindset.

Previous Experience Required & Personal Profile of the Supply Chain Planner

Able to understand complex supply chains and ideally worked with international suppliers before.
Forecasting experience, able to analyse data and put plans into action when required.
Confident in own ability and able to speak up to alert stakeholders, colleagues and management of any upcoming issues with stock, purchasing and overall supply chain.
Able to navigate ERP or MRP systems, ideally SAP but this is not essential.
Able to enforce company policies and procedures.
Worked in a similar fast paced environment ideally from the FMCG sector.

Location:
Redditch with travel in a 20 mile radius to other sites & suppliers. Hybrid working will be an option after initial training.

Salary:
£24,000 - £28,000

This role will be well suited to a Supply Chain Coordinator, Supply Chain Planner, Supply Chain Assistant, Buyer, Junior Buyer, Demand Planner, Demand Forecaster, Supply Chain Customer Service Coordinator, Supply Chain Customer Service Account Handler, AssistantBuyer or Forecaster.
