Description

Responsibilities:

Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components based on blueprints and specifications
Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish metal pieces
Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements
Use basic math skills to measure and calculate dimensions accurately
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet industry standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metalworking processes
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Familiarity with different welding techniques, including stick welding
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication is a plus

£14.37-£14.87 per hour
