ASSOCIATE ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISOR

We are looking for an
Associate Environmental Advisor to join our team at either our
Aberdeen or Zoetermeer offices on a full time, staff basis.

As an
Associate Environmental Advisor, you'll be responsible for coordinating the environmental matters on a company and project level.

You'll provide the necessary support to create a positive HSEQ culture within the organization and ensure that all company-wide activities meet all regulatory and Group environmental requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Providing support to the Corporate Environmental Team and Business Units with environmental initiatives and reporting, including environmental policies, sustainability programs and performance reporting
Supporting the maintenance of the ISO14001 environmental management system including monitoring and reporting of environmental data and continuous improvement actions
Working as part of the Environmental Team, reporting into the HSEQ Director/Environmental Manager on key environmental targets and issues
Identifying and managing environmental aspects and impacts for the company
Assisting in the production of company procedures, policies and guidance in relation to environmental concerns, sustainability efforts and reduction targets
Facilitating implementation of cost efficient and environmentally friendly solutions
Investigating and following up on incidents and near misses
Maintaining legal compliance registers and ensure organization is aware of current and future environmental legislation
Developing and collating environmental KPIs for the on/offshore locations
Capturing and capitalizing on Lessons Learned to mitigate our environmental impacts
Communicate environmental requirements and raise environmental awareness across the organization
Maintain content on the Environment Sharepoint site
Interface within the wider Subsea7 Group to ensure environmental focus areas and policies are aligned to the wider business

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent qualification
Experience with ISO 14001 based environmental management systems, as well as demonstrable knowledge of current and forthcoming legislative requirements
Fluent in English with good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build and maintain positive business relationships at all levels
A proactive and selfstarting mentality with a solutionbased approach, and the ability to challenge and be challenged, responding in a constructive, coaching manner
Ability to demonstrate initiative and ownership, while contributing to team activities
