Ffrancon Ward Emergency Gynaecology Unit (EGU) are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Health Care Support Worker to join their team.

You must have an interest in working within Women's health as this unit is busy, caring for patients with complications in early pregnancy and gynaecology conditions.

You will be part of a team of hard working and dedicated nursing, medical and administration staff, and on a daily basis you will be required to work in liaison with the team to ensure the delivery of safe, well organised and effective care ensuring a positive experience for patients and families who access our service.


To undertake a range of care duties for patients and provide support functions within the Ffrancon Emergency Gynaecology Unit (EGU) under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.

To record patient information and report patient condition to a Registered Nurse/Midwife.

To undertake a full range of manual, housekeeping and clerical duties as required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
