Welcome patients to the Admissions and Day Case Unit in a professional manner.
- Liaise with relatives carers admit patients on PAS update patient demographics on PAS generate relevant documentation for admission monitor waiting area observe flow of patients ensure they move through unit according to Theatre schedule Trust policies procedures record Ward attendances inform coding team transfer discharge book review appointments for following advice Nursing staff record VTE Assessment data report information record cancellations liaise Bed manager Medical Secretaries Team Leaders Scheduled Care Coordinators other staff timely manner ensure case notes available all patients attending Admissions Day Case Unit prepare paperwork case notes future admissions track case notes in out unit daily deliver case notes Coding Office coordinate book hospital transport when required access update relevant systems including PAS ORMIS provide administrative support ADCU Ward Manager printing photocopying faxing order stationery maintain adequate stock levels open distribute post action emails promptly work cover annual sick leave provide accurate info ADCU Manager Ward Manager attend participate Team meetings adhere Trust policies procedures
