Within Expedia Group, the Experience Design organization is our global, cross-disciplinary team uniting user experience design, content design, and research to enable innovative, relevant, and cohesive experiences that serve the needs of all our travelers, partners, and agents.


We're looking for a motivated User Experience Designer III to help us create powerful and flexible tools for our supply partners.

From vacation rentals to hotels, our partners are the last mile of the traveler stay experience, and we help them to run their business by enabling powerful traveler messaging, demystifying getting paid, and giving suppliers the power to help travelers when the unexpected occurs.

This team works on a global scale, across devices and platforms, in a diverse and collaborative environment


What you'll do:


  • Influence strategy for a project or product area by articulating a coherent UX vision based on clear, impactful problem/opportunity statements
  • Explore diverse, novel perspectives and design directions by default, and evaluate concepts using appropriate methods to figure out the strongest solutions
  • Expertly facilitate idea generation with partners
  • Demonstrate mastery of common visual and interaction design principles and practices, and create appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps, and prototypes with mínimal guidance
  • Actively contribute to design system growth based on use cases
  • Make decisions that clarify the relationships between patterns while supporting future flexibility
  • Consistently create clear and compelling materials and narratives explaining design rationale to team and partners using customer, business, and competitive insights
  • Actively seek diverse feedback on design work and anticipate feedback to address it proactively
  • Tailor communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate
  • Clearly communicate customercentric goals when presenting work
  • Develop empathy and insights about customers based on data and insights from research and other customer data sources

Who you are:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Visual Design or other related Design field, or equivalent related professional experience.
  • Strong skills in interaction/visual design and prototyping. Capable in facilitation, information architecture and technical/platform knowledge. Design systems experience is ideal.
  • Experience with native app design, including a strong understanding of Android and iOS patterns and capabilities.
