Residential Childcare Trainer Assessor (CYPF)

Location:
Central Scotland - Must be flexible with travel

Salary:
£30,000

Essential Criteria:

Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Must hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above: PTLLS/AET or equivalent.
Must have experience of delivering full SVQ's in Social Services / Children and Young People.
Must have occupational competency at Management level within a Social Services or Residential Childcare/CYP setting.
Must be comfortable with virtual and facetoface delivery methods.
Full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards SVQ's in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Support learners to achieve Core Skills.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
