The largest British-owned wiring manufacturer in the UK is looking for a creative Marketing & Social Media Manager to join their successful team in Doncaster.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a central role in defining the business' marketingand social media strategies, managing the delivery of these and producing impactful results.


Role Responsibilities

You'll be joining a successful family-run business that has been established for over 30 years and throughout this time they have developed into an internationally recognised brand within the cable industry.

As a Marketing & Social Media Manager, your responsibilitieswill include:


  • Continuing to raise the brand profile within the professional contractor community and with electrical wholesalers
  • Managing the marketing budget, evaluating performance and finding areas of external support for this
  • Working with colleagues to understand the business and discover all marketable features
  • Coordinating marketing events ie. factory visits tours with colleges, electrical wholesalers and electrical contractors
  • Managing all print media
  • Tracking and monitoring the success of online initiatives and reporting the results to management
  • Staying up to date with social media developments and best practices
  • Daytoday management of a marketing assistant
**Rewards

**As a Marketing & Social Media Manager, you will receive: - A starting salary between £27,000 - £30,000

Requirements:

To be successful in this Marketing & Social Media Manager role, you should have:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Creativity and a passion for marketing
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of web/app platforms, Microsoft 365 programs and basic design software
  • Knowledge of online technology including all social media channels, blogs, podcasts and emerging AI
  • The ability to think analytically and solve problems
  • Previous experience in a marketing role and the ability to bring a fresh approach and strategy to help move the business forward
