Are you a self-motivated individual who enjoys handling multiple projects and works well under pressure? Do you have great organisation and project management skills, and are eager to learn, problem solve and take on new challenges?


The Hospice Lottery Partnership has a vacancy for a Business Development Assistant supporting sales growth and marketing opportunities in support of local health-related charities.

This role will give you the opportunity to develop partnerships, work oncause related marketing activities, as well as developing sponsorship opportunities, making this a truly rewarding role.


Hours:
part-time 22.5 per week (Monday-Friday).


Salary:
£23,000 (pro rota to £13,800)


Location:

Office based with some travel throughout the counties of Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Oxon, Middx, and the London Borough of Hillingdon and Hounslow.


Contract Type:
Permanent.

The Role:


  • Research, develop and implement strategies for market expansion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of new and existing organisations in retail, medical centre, and business outlet settings.
  • Actively deliver marketing initiatives in line with the Business Plan.
  • Maintain a fully functional fundraising attendance diary.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing department.

About you:


To join our team, you will need:

  • A valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
  • Experience of B2B engagement.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Organisation and project management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • To be a selfmotivated natural rapport builder, confident and charismatic.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude eager to learn, problem solve, and take on new challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator.
