Payroll Officer - Cookstown - Salary negotiable and competitive
This role would suit a payroll officer with experience in running payroll within a small business. The company has staff paid weekly and monthly. The payroll function will amount to 2-3 days work, other areas of the job will include Accounts Payable/Receivable and any administration required


The Role:


  • Gather and correlate employee timesheets weekly.
  • Calculate and Input information on hours worked for each employee.
  • Calculate the correct amount of overtime hours, rates, deductions in line with TES policies and procedures
  • Receive approval from management of timesheet hours worked and expenses incurred for payment.
  • Process hours via SAGE Job costing and SAGE.
  • Generate payslips.
  • Generate bulk payment for weekly payment.
  • Payment of employee expenses.
  • Process HMRC taxes and payment to HMRC for PAYE/CIS monthly.
  • Keep track of hours, holidays, rates, benefit rates, deductions and be confident in enrolling a new hire information into SAGE Payroll.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll/pension from employees.
  • Generate weekly SAGE reports for management and finance department etc.
  • Regulate Construction Subcontractor payments and CIS payments to HMRC
  • Oversee Workplace Pension for the company and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

The Person:


  • Experience in SAGE
  • Experience in running weekly and monthly payroll for an SME staff)
  • Accounts payable and receivable

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
