We are currently on the hunt for a passionate Editor to join our fun, friendly team here at Social Publishing.


As Editor, you will be responsible for a team of writers and work alongside the Content Strategist in generating article ideas with popular appeal.

You will oversee the creation process, which will include assigning articles to writers, proofreading articles, checking the quality of the final product and ensuring the content adheres to company guidelines.


You will be working on a brand new site, which focuses on producing quality online content with a pop culture focus.

You will create entertainment content, in the form of listicles, fact posts and quizzes.

We're looking for someone with a positive mental attitude, who can keep up our reputation by producing content to a high standard and who is creative, hardworking and passionate about writing.

PLEASE PROVIDE WRITING SAMPLES OR LINKS TO PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED WORK IN YOUR APPLICATION.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of writers
  • Edit content
  • Publish content on WordPress
  • Collaborate with Content Strategist
  • Ensure content adheres to company guidelines

Requirements:


  • A very strong awareness of and interest in internet culture and celebrity culture
  • Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with WordPress or similar software
