BWC's Women's Accommodation Support Service (WASS) delivers support for women who are homeless or insecurely housed. In line with BWC values, WASS adopts a relational, trauma responsive, strengths-based approach.

WASS supports women with a range of underlying needs, identified by them, with the overarching aim of securing and/or sustaining safe accommodation.


The BWC Prison Link Worker will provide 1-1 casework support to a caseload of women in custody identified in agreement with Service Managers.


She will provide trauma-informed, strengths-based support in collaboration with women, empowering them to move forward towards their goals, with a focus on accommodation and social inclusion, women in prison will be supported in breaking cycles of trauma, disadvantage, and abuse.

Salary grade:
£25,481 pro rata


Working hours: 35 hours per week. Occasional out-of-hours may be required.

Work locations:
Based at our Brighton or Eastbourne offices with funded travel required to HMP Bronzefield and other BWC locations.

Contract details:
Fixed term 31st March 2025
