Our client, an SME manufacturing business, seek to appoint a Production Manager to oversee their manufacturing facility due to continued growth.

We need someone who is a good leader of people, has previous experience in a manual assembly production environmentand can implementing improvement activity.

Production Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Manufacturing Manager / Production / Assembly:

Day-to-day management of a team of supervisors and semi-skilled operatives
Coordinate internal and external training and Health and Safety
Deliver against KPIs for volume and quality of manufactured product
Continuously improve processes and procedures. Formal CI/Lean training preferred
Frequent commercial contact

Production Manager - Skills and Abilities - / Manufacturing Manager / Production / Assembly:

Minimum three years production experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity
Good communication skills and man management ability
Results orientated and KPI led. Understand key business requirements and deliver
React well to changing circumstances. Ability to solve problems as they arise
Experience with fast paced manufacturing and previous experience of subcontract manufacturing
