Customer Service/Administrator Assistant - Job Description

Hours of work

  • 08:45 until 17:15

Reports

  • Direct Reports to
  • Administration Manager


  • Indirect Reports to

  • Warehouse Manager

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Maintaining of stock records against multiple stock systems
  • Booking in of stock onto stock systems
  • Order processing
  • Collation of client charge data
  • Liaison with transport providers arrange deliveries and collections
  • Communicate specific customer requirements to Operations Team
  • Liaison with customers
  • Execution of tasks and requests to customer requirements
  • Production of paperwork including delivery notes to customer specifications
  • Checking of paperwork
  • Liaison with suppliers
  • Invoice reconciliation
  • Answering telephone
  • Booking in incoming shipments and updating the main inbound planning board

Key Attributes Required

  • Diligence and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Computer literate excel, outlook, word plus experience in stock control and warehouse management systems
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

Salary:
From £23,000.00 per year
