Description

To participate in the sorting of medicines returned from wards and departments, and in the disposal of expired and unusable stock according to procedure.

To participate in routine checks of stock levels within the pharmacy, including expiry date monitoring, following written protocols. To routinely fill up the stock shelves.

To participate in the daily stock check and regular expiry date checks and to deal with expired stocks according to the standard operating procedures.

To assist in the receipt and stock rotation of medicines. To deliver medicines to the wards and assisting portering staff if required (infrequent). To undertake other duties as deemed necessary for the good of the service.
