FILM AND SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (FSSS)
Our newest division capitalises on emerging trends in displays and in-mold electronics in the automotive industry.

The combination of these products allow us to create a formed, structurally rigid three dimensional part that's decorative with circuit pathways and enhanced electronic features to enable the human-machine interface in an automobile.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Production Team Leader to join us at our manufacturing site in Wantage.


Job Purpose:

To lead a small team of Production Operators within a specific area of the production process


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that daily plans are delivered for area of responsibility and escalate any production issues to the Production Supervisor as required
  • Ensure the team complies with Company and legislative Health and Safety guidelines
  • To adhere to Company quality processes at all times
  • To participate in training of procedures and ensure the team all follow them correctly
  • Ensure that all required paperwork and reports for the shift are completed and systems updated
  • Assist the Department Supervisor to achieve or improve performance targets
  • Promote team training and development by conducting on the job training
  • Provide cover for the Supervisor in their absence
  • Manage team schedules, break times and absence
  • To be the representative of the Company's high standards at all times and maintain a professional and positive approach

Skills:


  • Experience of working as a Production Team Leader in a manufacturing environment or previous Production Operator experience with the ability to demonstrate skills to progress to the next level
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety principles
  • Good literacy and numeracy levels able to write and speak in English
  • Good reliability and time keeping
  • Proactive and conscientious with the ability to communicate well with others
  • Leads by example and creates a positive working environment for the team
  • Flexible approach with the ability to carry out a wide range of tasks and adapt to the changing needs of the business

Working Hours and Pay:


Our production teams work a
three-shift system, rotating early then late, Monday to Friday and nights from Monday through to Thursday.


A generous shift allowance is paid in addition to a competitive starting salary, with opportunities for progressive pay advancement through our skills-based matrix.
