Working within a friendly supported environment an exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Decontamination area of the Endoscopy unit at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust was formed in April 2000 by the merger of the three former acute hospital trusts in Lincolnshire, creating one of the largest trusts in the country.
We provide a comprehensive range of hospital-based medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological services to the 700,000 people of Lincolnshire and beyond.
We invest around £18 million each year in improving our clinical services by replacing and upgrading medical equipment, modernising estate and facilities and improving information and technology infrastructure.
The Endoscopy Unit's within the Trust perform a variety of standard and advanced Endoscopic procedures for both out-patients and in-patients including; gastroscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastroscopy (PEG) insertion, oesophageal stenting and ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography).
The Endoscopy unit is presently open between 0800hrs and 19:00 hrs Monday to Friday, 0800hrs to 13.00hrs Saturday/ Sunday and 0800hrs and1400hrs Bank Holidays.
