Description

Glenevin Construction is looking to recruit an experienced HSEQ Manager to join the team based across the various parts of the UK.

The role will require travelling to various depot locations across Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The position will produce and report HSEQ performance information and development to the leadership team regularly.

It will also manage, direct, support and control the regional HSE Advisors as part of the day-to-day SHEQ management of the business.

Theposition will report in to HSEQ director.

As the SHEQ Manager your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Establish and review of HSEQ & IS policy and integrated management systems with ability to ultimately develop and enhance to maintain accreditation to ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 2700
  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
  • Providing specialist advice, communication, training and awareness.
  • Management systems internal audits and safety tours as required.
  • Develop, monitor and review procedures including but not limited to construction phase plans, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessment and personal protective equipment provision process.
  • Monitoring and review internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the business services delivery from a H&S perspective.
  • Maintain and develop policy statements and procedures in line with changes in legislation to ensure integrated approach through the management systems.
  • Development and implementation on environmental strategies and action plans, to ensure corporate sustainable development.
  • Coordination of the implementation of health & safety / environmental / information security policies and practices.
  • Coordination and control of Glenevin HSEQ roadmap execution pivotal role.
  • Handling of H&S investigations / claims / regulatory issues.
  • Experience of formulating, implementing, and revising H&S policies and procedures.

Additional Information

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or working towards.
  • Member of Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)
  • Experience in developing integrated management systems.
  • ISO 45001 lead auditor experience
  • Qualification and experience in auditing to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards are advantageous.
