What we need

What Training to expect
Training will be given in all the supporting software needed to sound edit at Picture Shop. You will be trained to record Voice Over working in the studios with clients. There will opportunities to mix and progress through the department.

This is an incredible opportunity to become part of one of the largest and busiest audio departments in the UK.

You will be exposed to a huge variety of different projects and technical processes.

You will have the full support of the audio department and as we develop new technologies and practices, you will be given full training.

What we need you to do

Our Junior Sound Editor will be involved in taking a show from an AAF to a finished, ProTools sound edit that is ready to go into a studio to be mixed.

You will need to be able to liaise with directors and mixers about the correct approach to a sound edit be able to work in a team and respond to feedback on your work and approach.

What Experience we're looking for

A working knowledge of ProTools; creating and managing sessions and media from either academic, professional or selftaught training
An unrivalled passion for all things Audio and proven interest in Audio TV Post
To have a competent understanding of audio post production techniques and workflows
To have an interest in post production technologies and how they are used in the production process.
To show an interest in all forms of TV and the differences between TV channels and TV formats.
