Description

Job Summary

MAN MAID is different to most property maintenance companies in that all of our handy people travel by our 'Tool Trikes' (electric cargo tricycle), which enable us to navigate through the city's traffic to get to/from jobs efficiently.

Tool Trike training will be provided although general cycling proficiency is a pre-requisite.

We have been serving our local clients for over 4 years and we are now expanding our business to meet demand.

We specialise in the small jobs (1hr to 1 day) such as wall mounting shelves, televisions, pictures, etc.

We also manage property renovation projects that require a mix of skills from plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to decorating and cleaning.

Our vision is to facilitate the work required for local home and business owners by providing the right people for the right job at the right price.

We aim to provide local handy people with a company structure and culture that focusses on the needs of the employee and helps them grow their skills.

MAN MAID intends to form a cooperative whereby local handy people feel part of a helpful community and can reap the financial rewards by becoming shareholders in the business.

The handy people who work for us embody everything we stand for.

If you're well qualified, take pride in the work you do and try to go the extra mile when people are in need of assistance, we'd like to meet you.

The company has a studio based on Imperial Road in Fulham where we meet each morning and the day's jobs are allocated.

All tools and materials are provided along with a work instruction for the job making it straight forward for the handyperson to complete in the allotted time.

Typically, the day will start at 8am and finish at 5pm when the trikes are emptied and the tools are put away tidily.

An hour's unpaid lunchbreak is expected.
