Business Development Manager/Sales Manager


Salary:
£40,000 (pro rata)


Location:
Newcastle upon Tyne


We are looking for a part-time Business Development Manager/Sales Manager who will play a key role in identifying and winning new business nationwide.


About you:


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating increased turnover from new clients and business (in the northeast initially)
  • Drafting a programme of proposed BD activities and reporting against them
  • Delivering and leading the BD programme, including all communications and negotiations
  • Working with the board, leadership team and staff on business development matters as required
  • Managing a number of existing and new business accounts
  • Attending conferences and networking events to support the needs of the business
  • Attending conferences and networking events which form part of the BD programme and support the needs of the business


We are looking for you to have at least 2 years' experience in a sales/business development role, as well as knowledge and experience of the planning/construction sector(s).

You should also have exceptional communication skills, drive, and attention to detail.
