Other Information on Place of Work:Thorpe Lodge, Norwich, NR7 0DU, but also to work in our leisure centres in Diss, Long Stratton, Framingham Earl and Wymondham.


Role SnapshotThis is a key role within the Marketing and Communications team, as it looks to deliver high quality marketing and social media campaigns, to increase memberships and engage with members within our leisure centres.

What you'll be doing

  • You will support the promotion of the Councils' five leisure centres through proactive use of a range of media channels, including social media to drive engagement
  • You will work closely with the leisure centres to drive membership, and engage with our customers both online and offline
  • You will evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing activity and provide recommendations for optimising ROI
  • You will keep members, the public, our partners and colleagues informed, and, where necessary, offer them support in their dealings with the media

You must have


You will have proven experience in marketing and social media delivery and be an excellent communicator with good writing skills.

You will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, confident at taking responsibility and using your initiative to complete work within challenging deadlines.

Driver's license required due to travel between leisure centres.
