About the role

We are looking for a van based distributor / merchandiser to join DD. You will be an important part of our team helping to create exposure for our clients marketing message using leaflets, brochures and posters. The work will be both indoors and outdoors, mainly within the central belt of Scotland. As one of our front-facing team members interacting with the public, a social person is a must. Based from our Glasgow warehouse you will be working between 08.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs Mon – Fri.

Summary –

Permanent full-time role

£28-29,000.00 per annum depending on experience

08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday

About You

To be successful you will be someone with a can-do attitude and understand the importance of helping us achieve our goals. You will be able to provide excellent customer service and be a good communicator. You must be an experienced driver with van driving experience being important but not essential. The nature of the role involves manual lifting, walking and carrying of items.

Summary –

Be an experienced driver with a minimum of 3 year's driving experience and a minimum of 1 year's van driving an advantage.

Have excellent time keeping

Polite, professional manner with a clean, tidy appearance

Can do attitude and enjoy multi-tasking

Good communication skills and the ability to communicate face to face with customers and the public.

Be a team player but is able to work on their own initiative

Able to perform daily vehicle checks

Understand the role involves manual lifting, walking and carrying along with driving.

Forklift licence is an advantage but not necessary.

We use our range of services to help our clients target their customers – these services include leaflet & poster display, promo teams, household drops, street teams and stakeholder communications. Working from our base on Glasgow we cover Scotland and the rest of the UK. We are a close knit team and , although we all have our own defined roles, we believe in jumping in and helping each other when ever its needed.
