Description
CNC Turner opportunity at this small family run aerospace engineering company.

You should be a confident and experienced CNC lathe setter / operator who can read engineering drawings, programme an XYZ CNC machine to produce components and have a basic knowledge of inspection, using gauges and micrometres.

XYZ Turning machine experience is essential and manual lathe and milling machine experience is preferable.

We only have a CNC XYZ Compact Turn 52LR lathe at present and we will possibly add a milling machine in the near future, therefore experience of both would also be preferable.

Permanent position with 4 weeks flexible holiday, 1 week Christmas shutdown together with bank holidays.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.15pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm. No weekend work and we do not currently operate overtime.


Salary:
£15.80 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Prenton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
