Description
To perform teaching duties appropriate to University Lecturing staff for up to half of

a normal full-time academic teaching load, combined with study for a Doctor of
Philosophy degree.


Key Responsibilities

and Accountabilities:


Faculty Specific:


  • To teach for up to 9 hours per week on the Faculty's programmes within the
lectures, tutorials, practical work and other means of teaching as appropriate

  • To assist in the development of academic programmes, and in teaching and
learning practices of the faculty

  • To participate in relevant Boards of Study and lead relevant modules
  • To carry out research in a specialist area for a Doctor of Philosophy degree at
- the University in Marketing.
  • To perform other such duties as the Associate Head of School, Head of School
and Dean of the Faculty may reasonably require


Special
the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Sunderland, under the
University's regulations. Your studies are expected to be completed by the end of
the term of employment, and the thesis submitted for examination within 4 years of
the start of the Assistantship.
