Transport Planner
SAMEDAY TRANSPORT SERVICES LTD is looking for a Transport Planner to join our team.
This position is responsible for providing support to our clients and clients' employees by planning and coordinating transportation for clients and employees.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, drivers, etc. to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Work with the team to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Perform daily transportation planning and reporting.
- Provide transportation requests to drivers as needed.
- Prepare transportation requests for new or existing customers.
- Prepare transportation orders for new customers or existing accounts.
- Prepare transportation invoices for new customers or existing accounts.
- Prepare transportation bills for new customers or existing accounts.
- Answer phone calls from drivers and clients in a professional manner.
- Prepare transport quotes for new or existing customers based on customer's needs.
- Prepare transport quotes using our Transport Manager software, or other online software.
- One weekend a month on call.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

- Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
