Children's Residential Support Worker / NottinghaM/From £30,000

Job Details:


  • Children's Residential Support Worker
  • Working for a wellestablished organisation that specialises in support for children and young people within OFSTEDregulated care homes.
  • Support one young person with complex needs.
  • Provide therapeutic support, working towards positive outcomes for the young person
  • Work within a staff team of support workers, seniors, deputy managers and a registered manager
  • Ensure all support given meets OFSTED standards
  • Support the child within the home and in the community
  • Arranging and taking part in activities
  • Managing, updating and following care plans
  • The home is based in Nottingham

Pay Details:


  • From £30,000
  • Sleep in rate £62.64

Contract Details:


  • Fulltime, permanent contract
  • 39 hours a week
  • You MUST be willing to carry out personal care duties
  • You MUST be a driver as you will be required to transport the young person from time to time
  • You MUST be an empathetic and relatable person, have good listening and communication skills, and an instinct to help others
  • You MUST be able to commute to Nottingham
  • You MUST have experience supporting children
