Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate:
£ £15.00 per hour Ltd

Role Overview:
Romano Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in North Lancaster.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing one-on-one or small group support to students with various SEN requirements.

You will assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum.
Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
Support students with personal care and mobility, if required.
Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the specific needs of each student.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a SEN environment is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and resilience.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting.
A relevant qualification in education or SEN support is a plus.
