This is an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary practice with an international presence in architecture, masterplanning, heritage and interiors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Creating building designs using CAD and other specialist software.
Liaising with clients to discuss their needs and those of the users of a proposed building.
Researching planning regulations and communicating with local authorities about planning permissions.
Advising on materials, technology and processes involved in building design.
Drawing up risk assessments, looking at surveys and investigating other issues that could affect how a building is designed.
Collating design information for each project and keeping it up to date.
Advising clients of progress.
Preparing documents to help with getting planning permission and similar approvals.
Visiting sites to check progress and inspect work.
Keeping up to date with legislation, standards and technological innovation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience using Revit software.
Experience using NBS / NBS Chorus software.
Coordination experience with other consultants, MEP, Structural, interior designers.
Understanding of Conservation and heritage would be useful.
Project running experience on site and understanding of project admin.
Ability to share knowledge to help upskill other members of the team.
Good communication skills.
Good presentation skills.
Attention to detail.
Proactive team player.
Minimum 35 years of practical experience in architect's studio.
