Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Progression and Outcomes Coordinator to work in Glasgow.

This position is initially for a period of 3 months and is paying £15.35 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm. The hiring manager is ideally looking for someone from a recruitment background.


The role:


Liaise with other employer, training providers and other agencies to directly support young people to access employment, education or training to enable positive and agreed outcomes, in line with the business plan.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop effective working relationships with a wide range of employers, using various channels of communication and approaches to broaden our reach of partner employers to secure employment and work experience opportunities for young people on our programmes.
  • Achieve the required target volumes of opportunities, jobs and work experience through our existing partnerships and new employer relationships.
  • Work closely with local authorities to maximise local recruitment incentive initiatives that can assist our partner employers, our young people and the service.
  • Work with local staff teams and employers to develop new opportunities that meet new emerging areas of work, where there are opportunities for our young people.
  • Manage, maintain, update and develop/expand our current database of employers across construction and new employment sectors.
  • Engage and represent Action for Children at a range of employer network forums and stakeholder events, to develop employer partnerships that contribute to securing positive destinations for young people.
  • Work to the principles of the Scottish Governments' No one Left Behind agenda, The Young person's Guarantee and the Modern Apprenticeship programme.
  • Attend meetings i.e. employment forums, open days and site visits with employers, training providers and external agencies, representing Action for Children, demonstrating professionalism and our core values, in terms of approach, advice and positioning.
  • Promote the principles of Fair work, ensuring opportunities meet the requirements of fair and equal pay.
  • Remain aware of Health and Safety implications and legislation regarding work placements, particularly within the Construction Industry.

Qualifications: N/A.

Experience: 2+ years working within a recruitment role.

Compliance:Current DBS check and references covering the last 3 years.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37 hours p/w.
