Our client is a is a leading national audit, tax, advisory and risk firm, based in London.

They are looking for an ambitious Senior Audit Manager to join their award-winning not-for-profit sector team and manage a portfolio of external audit clients.

About the role

This role would suit a highly motivated and professional individual, looking to specialise and grow within the sector.

Reporting to the Partners, the Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating their team for multiple projects and assignments,working with organisations from start-ups to well-established, prestigious clients.

Key aspects of the role include:

Managing a portfolio of external audit clients to deliver a proactive year-round service, including building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and colleagues;
Managing, coaching, and mentoring a number of audit teams and ensuring planned work is completed within agreed budgets and timescales;
Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and Audit Committees/Boards;
Developing, maintaining and monitoring a network of contacts, while being proactive in business development activities, including proposals and presentations;
Participating in team and firmwide activities and training opportunities.

The ideal person

The position would suit an excellent communicator, with strong people management skills to support, coach and mentor more junior colleagues.

The person should be motivated to work independently in a role with tight deadlines, and be able to produce high-qualityservices to clients at all times.
