Join us as a Portfolio Analytics Analyst

  • We're looking for someone to use dataled insights to drive and heighten risk management governance standards across our Depositary and Funds business
  • We'll look to you to help coordinate and manage all matters relating to the risk management content of any collective investment schemes under our Trustee & Depositary Services (TDS) business
  • Joining a forward thinking and collaborative team, your work will be key in helping us to achieve a market leading position in the collective investment scheme industry

What you'll do

As a Portfolio Analytics Analyst, you'll monitor and analyse the risk of each fund and assess the overall risk profile of the scheme.


Your role will also involve:

  • Owning the regular review and receipt of each client's risk management process documentation and regular risk reporting
  • Undertaking liquidity monitoring and analysis
  • Overseeing our compliance with UCITS, AIFMD, COLL and FUND rules, ESMA guidelines, and fund documentation relating to risk management and derivatives
  • Owning and conducting regular scheme reviews of associated derivatives risks and exposures
  • Producing and presenting MI on areas such as liquidity and derivatives for senior business users, management and clients
  • Resolving technical queries for internal and external clients

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with knowledge of risk management within the collective investment schemes industry.

This includes an understanding of the risk management framework, derivative products, fund and asset liquidity, and the collective investment schemesregulatory landscape.

Along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you'll be able to effectively build and manage relationships with external clients.

You'll also need:

  • The ability to understand complex trading strategies and the use of different instruments, and provide input on their classification and appropriateness within regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • An understanding of global exposure, VaR, leverage and risk analytics
