~ Reporting Solution & Report Developer ~

Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with
Slough Borough Council who are looking for a
Reporting Solution & Report Developer to work within their
Social Care / Housing Services.

3 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract.

Location - SL1 2EJ. (remote working may be possible)

Rate of Pay - £397 - £500 per hour - Outside IR3- negotiable depending on your experience.

_Objective:
_

To develop a reporting solution and reports for social care and housing services at Slough Borough Council, which improves the council's evidence-based decision-making.

_Activities:
_

Build Management Information reports for the housing service to enable;
Statutory returns / Regulatory returns / FoI responses / Management Information.
Adapt existing Management Information reports for the adult social care service:
Editing existing reporting suite, once reports have been used in the service for an initial period.
Collaborate with the council's IT service to move a serverbased solution to the cloud.
Improve ETL processes.
Upskill SBC staff to manage and iterate the processes and reports that are built.

_Skills:
_

Constructing data warehouses linked to case management systems.
Designing and building ETL processes.
Transforming data and building reports using SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Report Builder, and Mobile Reports Publisher packages.
Running testing and acceptance cycles with service staff.
Understanding of cloudbased solutions, and how to migrate from server to cloud.
Training staff to understand technical processes, manage them, and iterate them.
