Description

CMA Recruitment Group is currently working with a high profile creative production company whose Head Office is based in central London.

However, this opportunity provides remote working with only occasional travel to their Head Office.
The role requiresan experienced Accounting Manager/Bookkeeper who can work in a fast moving and constantly evolving project focused environment.
You will work closely with the Accountant to provide accounting support and basic financial planning and analysis.
This role willbe part time - three days per week although there is flexibility around the hours and days.


What will the Accounting Manager role involve?

  • Manage bookkeeping records using Xero
  • Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
  • Work closely with the external Company Accountant to submit VAT returns
  • Work with the Accountant to submit endofyear company accounts
  • Deal with some HMRC enquiries
  • Strong technical understanding of general accounting principles
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately on a variety of projects
  • A tenacious and proactive work ethos with excellent level of communication both written and oral
  • Competent in the use of Xero and Excel
  • AAT qualified or equivalent
  • A background in the creative arts would be advantageous
