Do you have experience supporting children with SEND needs?


YSA Education are currently working with an all through special school in the Shrewsbury area that provides for children with challenging behaviour and SEMH and complex needs.

This school prides itself on ensuring all children reach their full potential through high standards of teaching and learning.

Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant would be to work alongside the class teacher, helping them to meet the differing needs of the children in the classroom.

They require Teaching Assistants for both primary and secondary age groups.


Role Requirements:


  • A nurturing individual with a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching staff.
  • Prior experience of working with children with complex needs and challenging behaviour and/or SEMH.
  • Residential care experience is also welcome.
  • Able to use their initiative to support learning.

Benefits:


  • Full time school hours
  • Longterm until the academic year at the least
- £80-90 per day

  • DBS Refund

Requirements:


  • DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Knowledge of Complex Needs, SEMH/Challenging behaviour
The suitable applicants must have experience or willing to gain experience within special needs. Support will be provided for any teaching assistants that feel they have transferable experience.


Salary:
£80.00-£95.00 per day
