About the HR Executive role


We are looking for an HR Executive to join our friendly and busy people team, to work alongside our existing Executive, along with four HR Coordinators and the HR Lead.

The HR Executive role will be ideal for an existing HR Advisor with a can-do attitude,who is keen to push themselves in all areas of HR practices by working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

The Executive will provide HR advice and support both managers and teams across the site.


You will:


  • Have experience of working in a HR Advisory role
  • Provide advisory support for disciplinary meetings, managing grievances and confidently advising hearing managers with a strong knowledge of HR practices and company policy
  • Support in fact findings and investigations alongside managers
  • Build strong relationships with Operations and Shift Managers to ensure efficient communication and good people management
  • Be a champion for HR and Time and Attendance activities
  • Pull/produce reports and manipulate data to provide Operational Teams with a clear view of HR metrics reports to include: absence, planning, labour turnover and ad hoc requests for data
  • Own high volume absence reporting and lead initiatives to address any trends which may appear by working on continuous improvement projects
  • Attend daily operational meeting to report on key people data
  • Present key data in weekly group meeting
  • Be a fair and effective Line Manager for the HR Coordinator/s and manage daily HR administration activities
  • Manage employee benefits
  • Ensure reception cover during the HR Coordinators absence
  • Work alongside the other Executive by building a collaborative relationship
  • Support the HR Lead with adhoc projects and initiatives
  • Oversee and supervise cultural expenditure (managing the HR Coordinator and reporting into the budget holder where necessary)
  • Deliver HR Inductions
  • Act as an initial goto for ER cases and ensuring all cases are managed in line with our company policies
  • Support the HR Lead in upskilling HR Coordinators, to develop further HR knowledge
  • Support hiring managers with IT/equipment setup for new starters
  • Advise managers on standard formal processes and provide daytoday HR support under the supervision of the HR Lead / HRBP as appropriate
  • Partner with managers to provide advice and training on HelloFresh policies/processes
  • Manage the implementation of Family Friendly policies including maternity, paternity and other leave arrangements
  • Support onsite communications and engagement initiatives

Hard skills

  • Previous experience as a HR generalist/HR Advisor
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Experience reporting on and managing volume absence
  • Experience of Employee Relations processes and best practice
  • Microsoft Office / Google Suite experience
  • Experience in a fastpaced, production environment
