About The Role
We have an exciting and new opportunity to join our Learning Delivery team as a Programme Advisor.


We are on a mission to change how we develop and deliver our future Talent Programmes and this role will play a critical part in providing the business with the Talent we need now and in the future.

Focussing on developing and managing our Future Engineering Programmes you will have the opportunity to shape our Future Engineers development journey.


As a Programme Advisor you will work in conjunction with the MyPeopleServices team but you will report directly into the Talent Manager as part of the Learning Delivery team.

Part of this role is being contributing towards the effective delivery of the employee learning cycle, ensuring that Cadent is operationally compliant with mandatory skills and competency required.

You will equip and guide our Future Engineers across the business, ensuring that the appropriate learning and development interventions/programmes are provided and that they are accredited appropriately.


Key Accountabilities

  • Creating and building appropriate Future Engineering programmes that will develop and support our new Trainees, working in conjunction with our business SME's to ensure all programmes meet the business and individual needs.

This includes but is not limited to:
training plans, schemes of work, assessment plans and building LMS interventions.

  • Maintaining IMechE accreditation for the Graduate scheme, leading on audits as appropriate and managing/tracking any Talent accreditations such as IMechE, IGEM and IET to ensure that individual accreditations are embedded into the Engineering programmes
  • Ensuring all Engineering programmes (including Graduate, Engineering Trainee Programmes, Apprenticeships etc) are compliant with both Cadent and external frameworks, guidelines and policies
  • Managing and maintaining all appropriate Future Talent Engineering accreditations and forums to the required standard
  • Reviewing delivery outcomes and maintaining continuous improvement
  • The provision of programme MI to track and demonstrate compliance, performance and status, and take necessary corrective actions. Share with stakeholders to maximise visibility of performance
  • Coordinating external third party providers and qualification bodies relating to Key Skills, Technical Certificate, Foundation Degrees and other national qualifications
  • Managing and maintaining all appropriate Future Talent Engineering accreditations and forums to the required standard

About You

  • CIPD L5 Qualified or Educated to equivalent Degree level standard (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in Talent Programme design
  • An understanding of awarding and accrediting body requirements and how to incorporate them into programmes as appropriate
  • Leadership, management and influencing/negotiating skills to build and maintain effective relationships across all stakeholder groups to deliver business outcomes
  • Focus on creating value for clients with good networking and collaborations skills
  • Knowledge of learning methods and understanding of best practices
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks
  • Experience in project management
  • Execution and results oriented
