  • Lockton's People Solutions team helps our clients' make their businesses more successful and people's lives better. We do this by working with our clients to deliver solutions that help them make informed decisions, provide better rewards and benefits, and improve employee experiences.
  • The role will be varied and projects may include, but not be limited to, writing feature articles to support marketing, working with consultants to develop employee facing campaigns, working with the bid team to help shape engaging content, looking at improving digital content, brochures and presentations. This role will take the lead to help us further develop our client communication proposition, writing understandable and engaging content that helps our clients position the benefits offer to their people.

  • Essential
  • Previous content creation experience, with excellent writing skills to support oneoff communications and integrated internal communication campaigns
  • Previous experience in researching, planning and writing articles for distribution via a range of channels
  • Ability to grasp complex employee insurance topics and write compelling content
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build a trusted relationship with a diverse set of content contributors
  • Ability to turn abstract or technical information into engaging content
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of, and experience in employee benefits (insurance/pensions/wellbeing) as an insurer

Qualification:


  • 3+ years copywriting experience, either inhouse or agency. Previous experience in B2B, B2C and ideally internal communication creation.
  • Excellent written English, spelling and grammar, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • An ability to quickly understand and assimilate our values, our capabilities and our clients, and bring these to life in a differentiating way to support our proposition and growth ambitions.
  • Technically adept and able to convert complex messages into easily understandable copy for employee consumption.
  • Organised, with a strong work ethic, great sense of initiative, and a talent for predicting what will interest and engage target audiences.
  • An ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment, and the flexibility to adapt to a growing team as well as the changing business needs
  • Ability to take feedback on board and respond to amends quickly
