The Role:


Working as a team, with colleagues, to complete manufacturing tasks in a timely manner whilst ensuring the quality of the product and the safety of yourself and co-workers is not compromised.


  • This role can be physically intensive and therefore a good level of health and fitness is required._

Main duties_:
_
To complete tasks on the manufacturing plant including adding materials to vessels, monitoring plant activities (e.g. the mills), disposing of material packaging correctly and cleaning plant equipment under supervision.


Complete required quality checks and record information on the software system through the use of bar code scanners and PLC tablets.

Complete effective shift handovers by informing colleagues of progress of tasks and activities at the end of each shift. Ensure the safety information for the product is understood by all workers on the plant before starting any job. Enter confined spaces where required (following training and medical)

Confined space experience is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

Rotating Shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Mon-Fri

Salary starting:
From £22,500-£26,100 (£10.82-£12.55 per hour) depending on experience

Entitlement to work in the UK is essential.

£10.85-£12.55 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Peterborough, PE2 6TB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
