_Swift Sports Coaching are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and fun individuals to run after school sports and play-leading clubs for Primary aged children.

This is a great opportunity for individuals to wok in a school setting, gain valuable experience for future teaching careers and to progress within our team to other P.E, coaching & managerial roles.

Post Title:

Primary school sports coach to deliver a range of sports activities, this can include a combination of the following; Lunchtime, after school / holiday clubs and assisting coaches during P.E lessons.


Working Hours:

The position is required on a part time or full time basis, £ per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).


Locations:
Various locations throughout South Gloucestershire, including; Yate, Winterbourne, Patchway. Longwell Green as well as locations in South Bristol.

Working hours for various positions can be between:
pm (Lunchtime Club)
pm (P.E assistant Coach)
pm (After school Club)

  • 8.45am 4pm (Holiday Clubs Outside term time) where available

Swift Sports Coaching are a proud and successful team, committed to running fantastic sports clubs for Primary aged children to enjoy sport and continue in the future. We are leading providers in delivering after school clubs to Primary aged children in schools within Bristol and South Gloucestershire.


General Information:

Swift Sports Coaching are always looking for experienced and energetic individuals to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team of coaches.

Relevant experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.

  • Full UK driving license and own car is essential.

Purpose of the role:
You will be delivering a range of safe, fun and inclusive lunchtime, after school sessions and activities and be responsible to:

  • Lead lunchtime sporting activities
  • Assist with P.E lessons
  • Lead After School Clubs in a variety of sports and age groups
  • Confidently deliver a wide range of sports
  • Effectively plan, deliver and evaluate a range of high quality multi skill and sport specific sessions
  • Follow Swift Sports Coaching and school safeguarding procedures (Covid 19 Procedures)
  • Manage pupils behaviour at all times
  • Represent Swift Sports Coaching in a positive reflection
  • Liaise positively and confidently with children, parents/carers and school staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prioritise the safety and well being of the young children they work with
  • Organised and punctual
  • Can work alone or as part of a team

Data Protection and Safeguarding:


  • Work within the requirements of Data Protection at all times
  • Understand your responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding and child protection and how to highlight an issue / concerns
  • Remain vigilant to ensure all students are protected from potential harm General
  • The postholder will be expected to undertake any appropriate training provided by Swift Sports Coaching to assist them in carrying out any of the above duties.
  • The postholder will be expected to contribute to the protection of children and young people, as appropriate, in accordance with any agreed policies and/or guidelines, reporting any issues or concerns to their immediate line manager.
  • The postholder will be required to promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the work place. To include ensuring that the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH, and all other mandatory regulations are adhered to

£9.00-£15.00 per hour
