Are you an experienced International Tax Manager seeking a fantastic opportunity with a leading global organisation based in Staines?
We are recruiting for an Interim Tax Manager for an innovative global technology business.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain a broader range of international experience across the globe,including Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, The Netherlands, The Republic of Ireland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, The UK, and The USA (in 27 States).


Main responsibilities include:


  • Preparation of data for VAT returns for an international group with registrations in multiple overseas jurisdictions.
  • Review VAT returns and liaise with external advisors and AP/AR teams.
  • Responsible for maintaining monthly VAT balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assisting with supplier invoicing and acting as a point of contact for Finance team queries.
  • Assisting the Group Finance Director in dealing with tax queries received from various parts of the business and externally, such as tax authorities.
  • Supporting to build an internal knowledge bank.
  • Preparation of VAT guidance notes and training for the business as and when required.

What you'll need

  • Qualified tax professional with UK and International exposure
  • Experienced finance professional with excellent knowledge of international transactions and related tax, withholding, and compliance issues.
  • Experience in working with wider finance functions.
  • Exposure to International VAT reporting, EC sales and Intrastat reporting.
  • Endtoend preparation of returns from data extraction to return submission with previous inhouse tax compliance experience is strongly preferred

This is a 3-month contract with potential to extend or becomepermanent

This role is within IR35 and can be offered on a PAYE basis or an umbrella.


Daily rates:
PAYE £300-£320


Umbrella:
£406-£425
