Job Title:
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator

Contract:
Full-time, Fixed Term until July 2023

Salary:
£31,828 - £33,948 per annum

Location:
Cardiff and the Vale

Cardiff and Vale College are looking for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator based within the Quality team within our City Centre Campus.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in the development and achievement of the Strategic Equality Plan to ensure the College meets its Public Sector Equality Duty.
Support the achievement of the Leaders in Diversity action plan and the reaccreditation process.
Support the achievement of the Transgender Charter.
Sit on the EDI committee, support its work both prior and after meetings.
Assisting the implementation of impact assessments of policies, procedures and practices.
Ensure the promotion of EDI across College and that key equality events are celebrated.
Provide training to staff and students to ensure equality is embedded across college.
Working with the Tutorial team to produce equality materials for the Tutorial programme.
Developing and managing the equality information portals e.g intranet, widget, Moodle.
Monitor progress against equality KPIs, set targets based on progress in equality action plans and liaise with departments to support these targets.
Producing and analysing equality information to feed into the College selfassessment process.
