Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator
Contract:
Full-time, Fixed Term until July 2023
Salary:
£31,828 - £33,948 per annum
Location:

Cardiff and Vale College are looking for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator based within the Quality team within our City Centre Campus.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and achievement of the Strategic Equality Plan to ensure the College meets its Public Sector Equality Duty.
- Support the achievement of the Leaders in Diversity action plan and the reaccreditation process.
- Support the achievement of the Transgender Charter.
- Sit on the EDI committee, support its work both prior and after meetings.
- Assisting the implementation of impact assessments of policies, procedures and practices.
- Ensure the promotion of EDI across College and that key equality events are celebrated.
- Provide training to staff and students to ensure equality is embedded across college.
- Working with the Tutorial team to produce equality materials for the Tutorial programme.
- Developing and managing the equality information portals e.g intranet, widget, Moodle.
- Monitor progress against equality KPIs, set targets based on progress in equality action plans and liaise with departments to support these targets.
- Producing and analysing equality information to feed into the College selfassessment process.
