Job Title:
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator


Contract:
Full-time, Fixed Term until July 2023


Salary:
£31,828 - £33,948 per annum


Location:
Cardiff and the Vale


Cardiff and Vale College are looking for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator based within the Quality team within our City Centre Campus.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the development and achievement of the Strategic Equality Plan to ensure the College meets its Public Sector Equality Duty.
  • Support the achievement of the Leaders in Diversity action plan and the reaccreditation process.
  • Support the achievement of the Transgender Charter.
  • Sit on the EDI committee, support its work both prior and after meetings.
  • Assisting the implementation of impact assessments of policies, procedures and practices.
  • Ensure the promotion of EDI across College and that key equality events are celebrated.
  • Provide training to staff and students to ensure equality is embedded across college.
  • Working with the Tutorial team to produce equality materials for the Tutorial programme.
  • Developing and managing the equality information portals e.g intranet, widget, Moodle.
  • Monitor progress against equality KPIs, set targets based on progress in equality action plans and liaise with departments to support these targets.
  • Producing and analysing equality information to feed into the College selfassessment process.
