Description

As Finance Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the European Finance team and provide a reliable, accurate and responsive service to the business in an administrative capacity with a specific focus on Accounts Payable.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable function for the UK and Ireland as part of the Finance team.

Process invoices, payments, and expenses in an accurate and timely manner.

The role is based from our Chippenham office on the Bumpers Farm Industrial estate 3 days per week. We are happy to discuss flexible options or requirements as part of the recruitment process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Process purchase ledger invoices accurately on accounting system (currently NetSuite), reconciliation of supplier statements and adhering to month end deadlines and correct levels of authorisation.
Prepare and process payments via bank transfers or other electronic payments, where required.
Monitor payment deadlines and ensure that invoices are paid on time and accurately.
Process employee expenses and provide the information for payroll processing each month.
Ensure that all filing of supplier invoices and statements is completed accurately and on time.
Develop, manage and maintain regular communication and relationships with key suppliers and specific customer contacts.
Ensure Accounts mailbox queries are actioned, distributed, followed up and filed in a timely manner.
Prepare and analyse data for the Financial Controller, as required.
Regular filing and housekeeping of both system and paperbased data and documentation.
General administration and other office duties as requested.
Provide cover for Accounts Receivable duties as and when required.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS

Working towards AAT or equivalent accounting qualification.
Problem solving, analytical and reporting skills.
Strong literacy and numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity.
High level IT literacy, specifically in respect of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Organisational skills and the ability to compile and interpret data and present it in a professional manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels.
Some working knowledge (or ability to learn) Irish VAT rules and laws.
