Contract role - Chef Developer - Cheshire/Hybrid/Remote - 6 months initial - Inside IR35

We are supporting our financial services customer to look for
Chef Developerto develop in packaging using chef, creation of chef recipes.

Chef Developer key skills:

Strong understanding of Chef and be able to create, test, and manage cookbooks and recipes effectively.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience in agent packaging \ deployment to large number of target clients
Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, such as continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Ruby, Python, or PowerShell
Familiarity with cloud platforms
Understanding of networking and security
Problemsolving skills
Collaboration and communication skills

Chef Developercan be based remote but if you are local to Cheshire - can do 1 days a week in the office then that is a bonus.
