As part of their expansion plans our client is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Executive to join their friendly team.

About the Role


Join the Group as a Marketing Executive, delivering marketing collateral that raises awareness of the Group, focusing on product launches, exhibitions, and both digital and print communications.


As a key member of the Marketing team, you will be the first point of contact for stakeholder requests from 3 of the 8 Group companies and work with external agencies.

Travel to head office and other group company sites will be required.

About You


We are looking for a confident communicator with experience in a similar marketing role, ready for the next step in their career.

You'll be an adaptable, self-starter, confident managing projects including marketing campaigns and product launches.

With a positive 'can-do' attitude, you'll be able to manage and prioritise a busy workload whilst ensuring attention to detail.


  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • A selfstarter who enjoys an agile working environment, collaborating with different teams and business areas
  • Highly organised, able to plan, manage and prioritise a busy workload to meet deadlines
  • Experience in liaising and coordinating tasks with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confident copywriter
  • Confident communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and understanding of the importance of building good relationships and networks internally and externally
  • Positive 'cando' attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • A background working in a technical industry i.e Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction would be beneficial, but is not essential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


There is a wide and diverse remit to this role including using both traditional promotional channels such as direct marketing, advertising, and PR, as well as social media channels, ensuring appropriate campaign targeting to align with the sales strategy.


As part of this role, we aim to raise awareness of new products as well as increase our share of voice in the digital marketplace, whilst exploiting other promotional opportunities such as exhibitions.


NEW CONTENT CREATION:

  • Work confidently with key stakeholders across the group to produce and publish an editorial calendar of content, including regular newsletter campaigns, promotional literature, case studies, thought leadership pieces, news articles, videos, etc.
  • Update the Group company's digital profiles, growing our digital footprint to increase the share of voice, traffic, and engagement across channels including LinkedIn & YouTube.
  • Create and manage our asset library of key product photography and video that can support the marketing outreach.

EVENTS:

  • Play a key role in the management of events and exhibitions to support marketing initiatives, including, budget management, logistics, mailing lists, and overall implementation and promotion.

CONTACT DATABASE SUPPORT:

  • Regularly review and update the contact database, with the sales teams to ensure we have uptodate and relevant contact lists for our direct marketing activity.
