Location - Harlow


Job Purpose
To assist with procurement duties for the business and general administration for the procurement team. To ensure all depot tanks are topped up each day. To make sure we purchase at the best possible pricing & use the most efficient & trustworthy suppliersand hauliers.

As a result of new business and further expansion, we are looking to employ a full-timeGeneral Procurement Administrator to join our successful Procurement team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forming daily Stock Reports for each depot
  • Forming daily Fuel Costing Reports for each depot
  • Liaising and building relationships with fuel suppliers for Daily Prices
  • Liaising with hauliers to book depot and customer deliveries
  • Providing sales team with prices for deliveries over a certain threshold
  • Sending daily contracted prices to customers
  • Entering orders into EAP system
  • Entering Haulage costs for Deliveries booked in
  • Monitoring telemetry throughout the day for all depots and making sure we have sufficient fuel in all tanks
  • Ensure all fuel is lifted within correct time frames
  • Ensure all contracts are lifted within given time frames to avoid any additional cost
  • Retrieving quotes from suppliers for various products
  • Placing orders for Warehouse and stock team
  • Providing sales team with prices for nonfuel requirements
  • Raising PO's for Directors and other Departments
  • Working with Transport to organise driver inductions at terminals
  • Assisting with any administrative tasks

Person Specification

Essential

  • Prior administration experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Work well within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Attention to detail

Desirable

  • Prior experience of working in the fuel industry
  • Positive cando attitude
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in construction, plant, or the oil industry preferable
