Due to growth of our Doosan Spare Parts business and a strong desire to improve our support, we are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our aftersales team.


Blue Machinery Central offers the complete supply, installation and maintenance solution for world leading equipment to the quarrying, mining, waste management, material handling, recycling and composting industries.

Our extensive product range includes renowned brands such as Doosan, Terex Fuchs, Powerscreen and Doppstadt.

The role of the Parts Store Advisor will be responsible for ensuring the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods.

Duties include taking delivery of shipments, checking goods for damage, or missing items and storing warehouse goods in an organised manner.

You will also be required to engage with internal and external customers and support parts identification using online parts catalogue.

Reporting to the Group Parts Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Engage in Health & Safety for yard and store operations including Blue Group employees, subcontractors & visitors.
  • Engage with customers both face to face and over the phone taking parts enquiries for shipment.
  • Using SAP Business One to check inventory, raise sales/purchase orders.
  • Using online parts catalogue for customer parts identification.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Loading/unloading of deliveries by FLT.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Participation in stock checking and audits as required. Work alongside the aftersales team to ensure seamless followon of repairs from field to workshop
  • Works across the business with director's managers, operational and sales staff
  • Provide holiday cover as required.

Skills/Knowledge:


  • Minimum 5 years experience within an parts warehouse environment, preferably automotive, commercial or plant operation
  • Knowledge of Construction Equipment including Doosan, Powerscreen, Doppstadt & Fuchs preferable
  • Excellent retention of information and quick learner.
  • Good Computer literacy
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent Information seeking skills
  • Medium Numerical skills
  • Good communicator
  • Excellent Problem solving
  • Valid counterbalance FLT licence
