Production Planner

Our production planner is an integral role within our team here at Harrogate Spring Water. Working closely with peers you will be coordinate flow of goods and materials in line with the sales forecast. You will use our in-house systems to ensure stock holding is correct and support the maintenance of production efficiencies.

The main responsibilities of the role are;

Responsible for the long

- and short-term production schedules, including maintenance shifts, prioritising, and preparing work orders liaising with other internal stakeholders to achieve optimum production efficiency.

To produce and maintain production schedules inclusive of maintenance shifts, prioritising job orders for production optimisation, whilst meeting stock holding requirements
To complete status reports on production progress, work in progress and raw material inventory
Provide supplier forecasts based on long term production plan to ensure continuity of supply.
Using the company forecast data, stock calculator, supply chain software and Orchestrate planning Determine appropriate stock levels by SKU for all finished goods taking into account production capability, sales forecasting, shelf life, promotional activity, NPD's, and any other factors that could affect stock position.
Provide detailed KPI's on plant utilisation and plan v actuals on a daily, weekly and longerterm basis.
Responsible for raw materials stock data analysis, supply planning and 'just in time' movement scheduling, liaising with Procurement and Logistics
Support continuous improvement and best practice production planning/scheduling strategies
Collaborate with Technical, Production and Procurement departments to accommodate trials as required ensuring mínimal impact on operational efficiency.

Salary:
Up to £30,000.00 per year
