Are you a Highway Engineer with experience in the UK Rail market? Are you an experienced Civil 3D user actively seeking a long term contract on HS2? If so, this could be the position for you

This global consultancy is looking for a Highways Engineer to join an organisation that has knowledge and experience within infrastructure, water, energy, buildings services and more This role is offering an initial 6-month contract and competitive rates

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Undertaking and developing the design of Highways assets using Civil 3D software.
  • Be proactive and coordinate with other team members for any issues that might delay/affect the deliverables quality
  • Ensure the quality of project outputs are met to a high standard
  • Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables on behalf of engineering discipline
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and working towards achieving professional qualification
  • Thorough experience of Highways design (local roads, junctions improvement/design) using Civil 3D
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of working under BIM environment
  • Experience preparing Highways technical reports
  • Experience using DMRB Standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of legislation, hazards and safe systems of work
